Graduates from the master study program „International Business Studies” are sought-after specialists and can perform a broad range of tasks. This is a result of the study program, which lays great emphasis on teaching the competences in an interlinked manner with regards to contents.
In companies, typical tasks of graduates comprise strategic (marketing) management, business development, (strategic) product marketing, market development, integrated business communication, management in small and medium-sized companies, self-employed entrepreneurs, operative cash management and treasury management. Graduates work for international companies or big corporations. In the field of imports and exports, they particularly work as export managers for different regions.
In the field of consulting, the following tasks are relevant (particularly with regards to strategic consulting): business consulting, organisational consulting, marketing and communication consulting, market research.
