University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol welcomes 50 incoming students from 17 different countries

To kick off the orientation days, FH-Rector Prof. (FH) Dr. Mario Döller and the International Relations Office (IRO) were pleased to personally welcome the incoming students on campus. The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol wishes all incoming students an interesting and successful semester and, despite the current limitations, the opportunity to discover Kufstein and its environs.

Positive start thanks to coronavirus safety measures

In view of the global crisis, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol is pleased about the nevertheless high number of incoming students this winter semester 2020/21: “I am delighted to welcome 50 exchange students to the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. We will make sure they have a wonderful and above all safe exchange here at the FH Kufstein Tirol,” says the FH-Rector.

The team of the International Relations Office (IRO), headed by Noureddine Rafili, will support students with detailed information on the first weeks of the semester, including all coronavirus safety measures. “The fact that we are able to welcome so many incoming students today, despite the current situation, shows that our network of international partner universities not only has great confidence in our international exchange program, but also in us personally, as a reliable partner. We are immensely grateful for their trust,” says Rafili, head of the IRO.  All necessary precautions in relation to Covid-19 were taken when students entered the country. During the semester, the recommendations and guidelines of the state and federal authorities will be bolstered by the university’s own set of on-campus Covid-19 safety measures.
