We need a current resume with your most important experiences and achievements up to this point so that we can get to know you a bit better. You can feel free to add a cover letter if you would like to tell more about yourself. Supporting documents about professional experience and occupational training are just as helpful as references or letters of recommendation. If we need additional information from you, we will feel free to contact you personally.
After we have received your application, we examine and carefully check your documents. After that, the most suitable candidates are invited to a personal interview at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. If we are not able to easily decide on one candidate or the other, there will be a second interview that depending on the position may also include the team so that you can also get to know your future coworkers better. As soon as a decision has been made in your favor, we will get back to you with the appropriate contractual offer.
For professorships, what is called a test lecture takes place on a previously selected topic after the documents have been examined, and then there is a hearing with the appointment committee. The appointment committee puts the best candidates into a suggested ranking and invites them to a second interview at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. Then you normally meet with your manager and are handed over to your team. We are glad to have lunch together on your first day to make it easier for us to get to know each other.
During your initial weeks, you receive comprehensive training in your area of responsibility, and your team gives you professional support. You get an insight into other specialty areas, departments, and degree programs by what is called the division rotation. The division rotation takes place at regular intervals and gives you an overall understanding of the wide range of tasks at the entire university.
