Library Introduction

Duration: 1 teaching unit

In this workshop, students receive a virtual walk-through of the library and the university‘s homepage, specifically looking at the search engine and the database. The goal of this workshop is to give students the opportunity to develop their own strategies concerning the gathering of information. In addition, we show students how to obtain, evaluate, identify and efficiently use information. Lastly, data sorting tools will be discussed in short.

Introductory course for scientific work with Citavi

Duration: 2 teaching units

Citavi is a program for reference and citation management. As a part of this workshop, you will receive an introduction to the basic features in Citavi. In this introductory course, you will be guided through the different features of Citavi as well as learn how to do reference work within the program.
