Prof. (FH) Dr. Markus W. Exler

is the head of the Institute for Cross-Border Restructuring of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein and regularly holds lectures as a guest professor on the topics of mergers & acquisitions and restructuring at the Institute of Management Technology in Dubai as well as at the International Management Institute in New Delhi, India. He has published books on the topics of company sales & valuation, also for companies in special situations as well as on controlling-oriented financing systems and accounting. He is the partner of Quest Consulting AG in Rosenheim and responsible for the business area mergers & acquisitions, which includes company valuations and sales. He is associated with the scientific advisory board of BDU Professional Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Consultation. |
Prior to this he was the managing partner of M.A.C. Mergers & Acquisitions-Consulting GmbH, Vienna and generally negotiated international M&A transactions for Düsseldorf Interfinanz GmbH as the authorized representative. As a banker he trained at the New York branch establishment of today’s Hypo-Vereinsbank AG and earned his doctorate at the economics faculty of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. |
