Incoming students explore the FH Kufstein Tirol learning labs

Incoming students from all over the world worked in the labs of the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences and gained valuable insights into engineering as part of the lectures on information system management and rapid product development.
In the LeanLab, students deepened their knowledge in business processes and helped to produce a LeanWatch. They were excited to be allowed to operate the machines, and they learned that it is a much longer and more complex process than they thought to produce a watch and deliver it to the final customer.
In the FabLab in Wattens, they worked in teams to develop their own product from design to finish. They also learned how to use 3D printers, laser cutters, and milling machines.
