Data Science: FH Kufstein Tirol Collaborates with Roosi
The German-Austrian Data Intelligence Consultancy roosi GmbH has entered an agreement for long-term cooperation with the FH Kufstein Tirol Bildungs GmbH in the field of data science. The cooperation aims to provide the students of the part-time master’s degree “Data Science & Intelligent Analytics” the opportunity to further deepen their theoretical knowledge in an entrepreneurial context with practical projects. Since the start of the current academic year 2021/22, roosi contributes with the “Winter service 2.0” project to the program’s applied practice semester. The official start of the cooperation was October 15, 2021; preparations for implementation are advancing quickly.
Digitization has Europe firmly in its grip. A key competence of digitization is the targeted and sensible handling of data. So it doesn’t sound presumptuous when it is postulated that all successful organizations and companies today are data-based. The FH Kufstein Tirol and roosi GmbH also share this idea. In a joint declaration of intent, the two agreed to join forces and contribute to solving the digital challenges.
The main goal of the joint declaration of intent is to link research and teaching with practical applications that are already being worked on today. Specifically, this means:
In the future, roosi GmbH will
- commission praxis and research projects at the FH Kufstein Tirol,
- enable students at the FH Kufstein Tirol to write bachelor’s and master’s theses in an entrepreneurial environment, and
- integrate the FH Kufstein Tirol as a building block in the existing KI Competence Center of the AKDB Group.
In return, the FH Kufstein Tirol supports the roosi GmbH
- through the training of specialists out of the continuously growing network of graduates and student interns during their course of studies and
- the implementation of a tandem degree program.
