Meet & Match 2023: Career Fair at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol Breaks Attendance Record
The cross-industry career fair at the University of Applied Sciences (FH) Kufstein Tirol allows students and graduates to establish initial contacts with the business community and potential employers in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to expert discussions with renowned companies, informative insights into various professional fields, and an overview of open (internship) positions, visitors could have current portrait photos taken at a photo shoot. The styling lounge, specifically set up for this occasion by DM Drug Store, ensured the right look in front of the camera. The organization team provided snacks and drinks for the well-being of exhibitors and guests.
Regional and (inter-)national exhibitors
In addition to a multitude of long-standing partner companies, FH Kufstein Tirol also welcomed many new exhibitors from various sectors this year, such as BIG National Real Estate Society, Llc, SpiraTec Plc, and Porsche Holding, Ltd. Students and graduates of the 24 Bachelor's and Master's programs at FH Kufstein, as well as the graduating classes of advanced schools from Kufstein, engaged with companies representatives, including the industrial company Stihl Tirol, Ltd., the innovative pioneer in the field of cooking exhaust systems BORA Ltd, and Oberalp G, Ltd., a textile company focusing on mountain sportswear. The main sponsors, SPAR and Sparkasse Kufstein, were also represented with a booth each in the ballroom of FH Kufstein Tirol and provided information about career opportunities in their companies.
Both visitors and exhibitors benefited from personal exchanges in the casual atmosphere. "We were delighted with the entire fair organization, and we are pleased that we could interact with so many fair visitors," summarize Julia Jehart and Ciara Drechsler, Human Resource Management at WALTER GROUP Service, Ltd.
Attractive pre-opening program for interested parties and exhibitors
Before the Meet & Match 2023, FH Kufstein students and graduates enjoyed exciting lectures on career topics and could have their resumes checked in a CV check. The program provided additional career preparation and promotion offers. "I am about to complete my Bachelor's degree, and I was able to take away many helpful tips for the upcoming application phase from the lecture on salary negotiation and the CV check," says a Bachelor's student. The interest and demand for the pre-opening program exclusively for exhibitors were also exceptionally high. Moreover, an impulse lecture on generational diversity at the workplace introduced participating companies to the results of a student project.
