University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol Ranked in Top 26 of Austrian Universities
The ranking specialist U-Multirank examines international universities on the basis of selected criteria. A total of 2,200 universities from 96 different countries took part in the rankings for 2022. This year, universities were awarded grades in seven ranking categories on the following performance scale: A - Very Good, B - Good, C - Average, D - Below average, E - Weak, and X - No data available.
University repeatedly awarded top scores
The results of the current U-Multirank tables again confirm the achievements of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol of recent years. In 2022, the university participated in the institutional ranking as well as subject-related surveys in the fields of Business & Engineering, sub-category Computer Science, with its bachelor degree programs in Web Business & Technology and the master’s program in Smart Products & Solutions, and in the category of Production/Industrial Engineering with the bachelor degree program in Industrial Engineering & Management.
The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol achieved particularly high grades (A) in the ranking categories Students Graduating on Time (bachelor’s and master’s programs), Practical Experience, Continuous Professional Development, International Academic Staff, and Student Mobility. This was backed up by grades of B or C in the categories Graduation Rate (bachelor’s and master’s programs), Professional Publications, Income From Private Sources, and Foreign-Language Master’s Programs.
“Our university places a premium on its international outlook and practice-oriented education and offers students the opportunity to graduate on time and without disruptions. This was particularly evident during these past few years characterized by a global pandemic,” said the joint university leadership of Prof. (FH) Dr. Thomas Madritsch, Managing Director, and Prof. (FH) Dr. Mario Döller, Rector of the University of Applied Sciences.
