Learning outcomes of course unit

The course introduces the basics of the thought-processes and actions of leaders and the simultaneous application of management and leadership skills. Exercising power responsibly, communication and empathy characterize leadership as a central competency in companies.

Students will gain an understanding of the general concept of leadership, various leadership approaches, and emerging approaches to leadership.

Students will be able to discuss and explain various concepts of and approaches to leadership, and develop an understanding and self-awareness of their own individual leadership approach.
