The team of the Institute for Energy, Facility & Real Estate Management researches and develops application-related and independent the structural, building technical and economic optimization of real estates. In addition, we identify renewable energy potentials to investigate sustainable and renewable generation of electricity and heat. We consider the entire building life cycle from development, planning and construction to operation up to the renovation, conversion or restructuring.
Through regular publications and contributions to congresses, the institute team is recognized nationally and internationally in the industry as a trend-setter for future-proof real estate, not least through its own regularly held congresses. The strong connection between research and teaching enriches the students and enables them to work on research projects.
